Is anyone else experiencing issues with 2Degrees at the moment, or know what's going on? Can't call, TXT or use data and calling 200 / 0800-022-022 (even from a landline) gives a technical issue message.

Was quite irritating when I needed to call someone - Thank goodness for having a dual-sim phone!

Strange, not roaming on Vodafone either. I'm in Auckland and I've tried different phones etc, and still doesn't seem to do anything. Oh well, will wait until morning I guess!

It appears people on Facebook are having issues too according to the 2Degrees page. Maybe just affecting Auckland?

Can you just force it to roam on vodafone? might help if you need to make a call now?

Tried to force roam on VF 2G and VF 3G and it didn't seem to want to register - could just be my phone on that however. Will just use the Vodafone sim for tonight - No biggie, will deal with it in the morning :)

I just tried and made a call to an 0800 number fine, then thought I would try 200 so hung up, dialed 200 and now no signal on the phone... Weird..

edit: Signal came back, call to 200 worked and its asking for a pin. I have never called 200 before so no idea if that is normal or not, but I am on 1 bar of signal whereas normally I would have 3 or 4 and it was breaking up real bad on that call.

I seem to be getting some sort of functionality back, connecting to EDGE data, and every 4-5 times I try attempt a call I'll get a "you do not have enough credit to make this call" message (even though I have about $25 in credit according to the 2D site). Means they are working on it I guess!

I called and got all of a sudden 2 texts both telling me the same Data pack has expired and that I dont have enough credit to renew them. Calls went through fine, and I have full service (2G though, I never ever get 3G here in Wattle Downs, Auckland)

I called their service desk last night and it appeared offline (technical error message) but SMS & calls were fine AFAIK.

I didn't notice any problems yesterday but there was no 3G service at Wellington Cup on Saturday which was a major PITA.

I had loss of service last night (29/1), looked like the phone had a signal but unable to establish a data session or make a call.  Strangely, wife's identical 2d phone was OK as was my phone with her SIM in it.  All back to normal this morning.  I think 2d must have had some sort of problem with their accounting system which locked out some accounts.  It would be good if they'd come clean on here and say what the problem was.

Give them a chance, today was a public holiday in Auckland where they are based.

So if I'd been out in my boat fishing last night and wanted to call the coastguard then I should wait until 0800 Tuesday? Great

No you should call the Coastguard on VHF Marine Channel 16.

If you want urgent attention from 2degrees call their help desk.
