I figured as much, maybe I flashed the wrong stock ROM after rooting it. I'm sure the JB firmware will pop up online some time soon.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but I recall it is 4.1.2 that should be coming down.

my nz bought vodafone S3 has just updated to firmware 4.1.1 official




HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard  graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner,  Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi

Hmm I'm not getting any sort of completion percentage at all, it's just a notification that I can't click. Same on 2 different phones.

Go to settings, About device, software update and then update, it will then come up :)

My update has downloaded, restarted and was installing (30%) and restarted again saying update failed !!

Did you not back up the handset before starting the update?


I didn't, no, I though of it as a normal update that will install on top of my ROM, I don't think it's necessary to wipe and update, but is it?
