yeah - definately kilobytes.

If anyone comes accross this thread later, this is with a Vodem Pro Stick (Z3805 ?).

So, not much point in getting a 2deg usb modem.

So - it turns out after all that the speeds are in fact not to bad.  Took a 'round a bit way to figure it out.

And if Vodafone is listening - Get a better plan that provides for more than 6gb a month!

when it comes down to the data sticks it is generally better to look at their specs rather than the carrier. sometimes the software can make it hard to use another carriers settings (not technically locking, but still same effect) but if it works it works.

from memory the Vodafone Pro stick supports higher speeds than the current 2degrees stick so i would stick with the Vodafone one.
