when it comes down to the data sticks it is generally better to look at their specs rather than the carrier. sometimes the software can make it hard to use another carriers settings (not technically locking, but still same effect) but if it works it works.
from memory the Vodafone Pro stick supports higher speeds than the current 2degrees stick so i would stick with the Vodafone one.
