GlowyHoein: Oops, I thought Epsom had to be in the Mt Eden exchange area, but I'm at the fringe of the Mt Eden exchange area at Onslow Ave in a VDSL2 area (green colour), but supposedly my cabinet is no more than 50m from my house.
I have no clue about what ULL exchanges and wholesale connections means though.
GlowyHoein: Do I just ask Orcon to move me from an unbundled to a wholesale connection over the phone? Is it that easy? Is there anyway to confirm that I am not on a wholesale connection already?

GlowyHoein: Hi all,
I'm an orcon customer using Orcon Genius (with the Orcon router), over the past few days I've been experiencing a massive drop in quality of service for my internet connection.
Previously I had upwards of 1.4Mbits/s, but according to orcon genius's data, my internet speed is now 819kb/s for download.
Furthermore this is my result according to a speedtest.net:![]()
For a NZ server the ping is off the charts and so is the speed.

I have called in Orcon today and asked for help from the tech department, the best they could attempt was a line reset which did not help at all.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me resolve this problem? But this is really starting to annoy me with the poor service, I'm wondering if other ISPs might be better.
