The issue is the handset not 2Degrees! The handset does not support GSM / 2G on 900Mhz
But how is possible that i had reception on Auckland and Tauranga, but not here on Te Puke, well, at least not in my house, the only area where i can get some reception at moments is on the center of town, on the area around the shops, but if i get out of that area my phone dies, and, as soon as i leave town and take the road to Tauranga my phone starts working again, really annoying!

In a nutshell your phone is connecting to infill (secondary) coverage but isn't compatible with the primary frequency. Secondary coverage is only available where the primary coverage is likely to be overloaded; that's an oversimplification but hopefully it gets the point across :)
Oooohh i got it, so, i guess i should start looking for a new phone :( probably something really cheap and pray that i will have luck when i move out of Te Puke (just gonna live here for like 3 more months).
Yeah! Gonna have a look at 2degrees store for something, and use the current phone as a camera/ipod and any other good use i can give it besides calls and texts.
