starcraft, diablo 3, wow on us.battle.net and related servers (at&t los angeles, currently routing via san jose / chicago.  although that's a slightly different issue, some other stuff can be more on/off like neverwinter.

quentinreade:
If you can give us a heads up on the services you'd like us to work on first, that would be a great steer.

Usable P2P during "peak" hours (ie before 2am).

Google services, particularly YouTube and Maps.

I'm interested in how you plan to optimise Netflix. It's used widely on our Orcon connection - however all traffic is through either Unblock-Us or PrivateInternetAccess VPN, so not easily optimised. It would be lovely if Orcon would offer something a la Slingshot's built-in service :)

World of Tanks seems to be a problem across many ISP's in New Zealand I've noticed....

The google services mainly come from a local cache. But some gets served by Aussie

We have an upgrade to our Australian network coming in the next week.

P2P during peak times will also be a bit slower on the unlimited plan. Its just a function of the plan. However we do have a PeerApp P2P cache. Just make sure you not using encryption and if is popular contact it should come out of the cache pretty quickly.

The cache however only supports Bittorrent currently (not Bittorrent uTP). However we are working with the vendor to resolve that.

Don't know them. I'll have to track the IPs down.

Ramjet ,

Please read my World of tanks thread , in the Orcon forum. Other I.s.p's pings are less than half Orcons.
