timmmay: I was wondering what the holdup was, so I emailed Wellington Electricity. They replied
"Hi Tim, Your timing is impeccable. The Pole Connection Agreement was signed with Chorus this morning."
timmmay: I presume for any of WE's poles. Doing it for two specific poles would be rather short sighted.
timmmay: It's going on three months since I ordered UFB. I heard from Snap a few weeks ago, they told me Chorus and Wellington Electricity are still negotiating some details of pole access, even though WE told me it was sorted a month ago. I expected it to happen December, but maybe Jan.
Unsure how long I just wait and see before I cancel and ask for a refund.
timmmay: I read on another thread that 70+ people in Wellington have been waiting a year or more for UFB, thanks to Wellington Electricity. Seems that legislation should've been passed to make this easier.
