On a related note I was told the Orcon use PPP authentication and the MAC address of the Genius modem to allow connections. Is this correct?


PPP Authentication on EUBA, BUBA connections
Our LLU Platform uses Port Authentication.

Fibre uses Port Authentication

No mac filtering on any platform.

See SoundDude's reply but for Genius we do require the mac address to be configured on our servers so the Genius can pull down its correct configuration automatically.
