The only two things I have had work over teredo tunnelling are pings and transferring data between torrent peers.
I've only seen pings over teredo when no native v6 is available. I've seen teredo-teredo peer transfers when no v6 is available and native v6-teredo when it is.
This is on W7. Linux, Android, Mac OS and iOS devices also all appear to have no IPv6 problems on my connection.

So I loaded up the standard firmware on my router last night and tried to connect via IPv6 on my WAN port, no go.. the only thing I could get working was the 6to4 again.

Tried IPv6 on my DV130 and that wouldn't connect at all either.

What settings did you try?
You need to use DHCPv6 with prefix delegation for Snap IPv6 to work.

This is on an Asus RT-N66U running TomatoUSB. I've also had it work on the stock Asus firmware with the same settings.

sorceror: keep in mind that even though you have turned it off on the router, windows still will try and use ipv6 over teredo

i always turn off ipv6 in windows 8 - it's flaky and tends to cause certain software to behave strangely (as windows 8 prefers v6 over v4)

strangely? such as? i haven't seen any strange acting in windows 8..

all sorts of weirdness with software that uses v6 and the TUN adapter - not something a normal user would run into, but it happens.

anyone has got IPv6 up and running in pfSense 2.1?

On a semi related note, Speedtest.net has enabled v6 and thinks snap's range is in london.

that would line up with a comment made elsewhere on here...

cant say i have seen them pickup my ipv6 address though..... geolocation on ipv6 seems very hit and miss, apnic whois doesnt seem to get very far on my ipv6 address now that i pull at it.

I've had a few hiccups with DNS requests failing, and discovered they weren't being answered over v6, and just timing out. I've disabled ipv6 for now, mostly because i have put a separate tomato router on DHCP and DNS duty, with backup DNS servers, which are v4 only.

Hm... Still having issues even getting connected to IPv6. I'm at the point of giving up now. I am 99% sure my setup is not to blame on my end, but I don't have the energy to spend hours on the phone to snap either.

By the looks of things, setting up ipv6 still abit troublesome, guess I will hold it back too.
Also I think I have reading somewhere on pfsense forum that pfSense 2.1 still having bugs with setting up ipv6 with pppoe.
