Hi - Sorry this was actually meant for this thread! http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=90&topicid=141147&page_no=2

On this one, yes this more than likely out of our network and the issue is likely to be their end site/their carrier/ISP

Yeah rapidgator, putlocker etc are slow for me too. Must be their servers.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I was using Rapidgator.net, Putlocker, megashares and a few others. But the other night I discovered its only slow when downloading a single file, if I get at around 10-12 going at the same time it will do all of them at 1.5MB/s. So all up 10-13MB/s

I couldn't find a setting in my download manager - J Downloader 2 to alter connection speed etc

woodpecker19: Right, I have a feeling it is the filehosting site I was using, just tried downloading a vid from youtube to see how fast it would go. Got to 11MB/s so def faster than I thought. Dunno, maybe the filehost is acting up?

For youtube go to http://redirector.c.youtube.com/report_mapping and make sure you're being pointed to the snap youtuve cache and not some other random ISP. If you are then check DNS settings on your PC's to make sure they aren't statically assigned to WxC
