Most routers have a "MAC address spoofing" so you might be able to set the MAC to the same as the supplied router if Slingshot didn't want to cooperate. I don't see why they wouldn't just set their system to match whatever router you plug in, just call them and ask to be escalated to someone technical if they give you a story. I suspect a better solution is to get a wifi AC accesspoint with a few gigabit ports for your local network. Spend the extra on another router if you notice its still slow. You gt better coverage having an extra accesspoint connected in a different part of the house anyway.




Time to find a new industry!

OK been up and running now for a couple months and after some small teething problems over the first week its been a great connection voip line works well and very good speeds so far. Well done Slingshot..100% better than the constant drops we had with vdsl. We are using a Netcomm NF4V for the net and voip connection and a dlink DSL-2890AL bridged for AC wireless works great.
