joker97: 2degrees website allows you to buy. and free sim to go with it. and free delivery. arrives on 2nd working day.

Have brought from 2 degrees website.

Got the iphone 128 gb as the 64 one was sold out.

Went and got nano sim adopter, and nano sim in current phone with adopter, but ordered nano sim swap with phone since it's free and in case I bugger it up with taking out of current phone when new one arrives.

Got iphone 6 as thought the plus one looked a bit uncomfortable to carry round. Also with 2degrees get flybuys, though probably only worth couple dollars, better then nothing.

Thank you everyone.

I was of the impression that Spark sold them outright as 'prepaid'. Is this something they only do for online orders and cannot be purchased in store?

If it's prepaid, then you should be able to use it on any network.

I purchased my iphone 6 though the Apple store recently. Said it would take 10 days took 3. If you go through the Air NZ Airpoints Mall you can get Airpoints.

Phone arrived this mourning.

Ordered Friday night, arrived Tuesday Mourning.

Also got a scratchy card, which gave me a reaccuring 512 MB for 3 months.

Managed to get contacts off sim, and phone going all good.

For a second there, I thought you meant you scratched the SIM until it had no contacts left.

You laugh - and you should - but years ago, when I was still a vendor working at Vodafone, as opposed to working for Vodafone which came later, they used to put a scratchcard in the box for the initial $20 credit with the SIM. One afternoon the team I worked with - the team that looked after the prepay system - had had a call from customer care. This person had read the instructions to scratch the card to reveal the topup code, pulled out his SIM, and obediently scratched, and scratched, and scratched ... until he wore right through the contacts, having not revealed the topup code.

I'd love to tell you we were all professionally sympathetic. But, no, not really.
