Gemalto is not currently a key supplier of SIMs to 2degrees although the company did source a small number of SIMS from it in 2012.
We take customer privacy and security very seriously and although the SIMs sourced are outside the timeframes that are affected by the alleged breach, we are working with Gemalto to understand what this means for our customers.
^Does this mean the newer snapper compatible sims are not from this vendor?
I wonder how easy it will be to "work with gemalto" on this, considering they have heavily downplayed it, to the point of almost denying it due to their lack of evidence from their investigations.
