timmmay: Be more proactive. Incidentally Twitter the perfect place to raise issues, companies get onto issues there almost immediately - that's pretty much the only reason I use twitter.

Yup, mainly because its so public and they cant just delete the tweet..... on FB, too easy for them to remove the post and/or you from the group/page.

Totally off topic, but if you have applied for 3000 jobs and not even got an interview, something is very wrong. Get a Career consultant or someone to look over your CV for a start to try and find out where things are going wrong.

kiwigeek1: nah regardless what company I worked for I was loyal and only time i left is when they
restructured and disrespect you or take your skills as granted.

YOU might be loyal and stay a long time, but the vast majority of people, that isn't true for, and unfortunately you have been tarred with the same brush. I believe as an employer you would likely make the same decisions.

I have hired overqualified people before, but I always spent time making sure they understand the job, what the likely pay ceiling will be, what the job entails and get a verbal confirmation that they understand we are not looking for short term people.

I am a small business, if I had 600 people, it's likely HR would have guidelines around this, because simply put we wouldn't be able to muck around with these processes with the volume of hiring we would be doing.

Or - and don't take this the wrong way - perhaps you may need to work on your written skills:

after 3000 rejects in a year I decided a career change for physical job instead but getting to oldnow days.. rather have a office job again

vs.

After 3000 rejections in a year I decided to make a career change to a physical job, but I am getting too old nowadays. I'd rather have an office job again.

Hi BTR.

This all sounds less than ideal and we're keen to put it right. If you can please message us the account details for the business and consumer connections we'll follow up here and get things back on track.

Thanks, we'll stand by.

underline active spell checker when should

remember no one is perfect.. someone bad at some things can be great inventors and more

refer to Einstein and so many other great people present and past. weakness and strengths.

if can get the job done and fix problems like no one else can and good customer support :)

ps had a few career people help.. cv been rewritten so many times now
but I did get this night job.. might be cleaning at night but the pay is good and not min wage.. amazing you see how office people treat you when they think theyre much more clever escp the mid management.. its all fun fun..

anyhow unsubscribing.. good luck with snap etc.. probably got noticed and some service by now ?

Just wanted to add my recent experience with these guys:
I've been having some connection issues with my new 2D broadband. At the moment I'm on the phone for the last 35 min and I'm still 7th in the queue. I called them 20min ago and when it was my turn the line just dropped! that happened 3 times few weeks ago I was on the phone for 1 hr and when it was my turn line dropped again.
now I'm just left with no advice or a solution. I don't care how fast and how reliable their broadband connections are, if you can't be bothered answering the phone there's no point keeping my contract with you. If this keeps happening I'll cancel my contract before 30 days and leave an awful feedback. I'm a journalist and definitely will take this further even on TV.
Hopefully someone will read this from 2D

FYI: your twitter account is rubbish too no one even replies to my tweets.

I don't know about Snap, but I had terrible customer service signing up with 2 Degrees. I was sick of Spark, and told the woman behind the 2 Degrees counter that I wanted to sign up with them instead, but she was rude and abrupt. She got frustrated that I wanted to read the contract before signing it!
Now I've signed up my experiences with 2 Degrees have been good, but that initial customer service experience very nearly turned me away.

I'm considering joining 2D so I sent a query from their online contact page. When I submitted it I got a pop up saying they have sent me an email regarding how long I can expect to wait for a reply.
No email received after a couple of hours so I resubmitted the query and gave another email address...same pop up and no reply.
Not very encouraging start when they can't even get the automated reply right. It will be interesting to see when or even if I receive a real reply.
