DarkShadow: Do you get exactly 100Mbps speed or around 93Mbps?
Generally sits bang on 94
OK that indicates the issue is inside your house. Either between the ONT and the router, or the router and your computer. Something isn't getting gigabit.
Are you with Chorus?
Enable
Ignore what was said above regarding orange light, that doesn't apply to you. Enable ONT lights are always green.
On your computer (assuming Windows), go to Start > View Network Connections > Double click your network card, what does it says under Speed?
Says 1Gbps
OK, so this means the problem is between your ONT and your router.
Check the following:
-Router is not randomly switching its WAN port to 100Mbps (check settings/ swap router)
-Cable is not dodgy (make sure to use a name brand cable and not a 2 dollar shop one)
-ONT is not faulty (get 2d to log a fault for you once you confirmed the above.)
Doesn't appear to be automatically switching. I've tried a number of different cables. ONT is pretty much the only thing I haven't changed. A shame you can't source them separately.
