A text message from 2D to customers who have registered Data Clock would have been nice to advise them of this special, rather than having to check Twitter (or GZ) ..

However, nice one 2D for offering it

The Data clock App reminds me everyday about the free 1 hour data and it did on Christmas day as well

yitz: Nice, wasn't aware there was a carryover $9 plan on prepay.

Sure do but they don't advertise it and does not offer included on-net calling

John

It does include on net calling "You will receive free calling to standard 2degrees mobiles with your Carryover Combo" and (clause 27 from https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/termsofuse/mobile/prepay/value-packs-add-ons/carryover-combo-terms-and-conditions/ which covers the $9 and $19 plans)

Clause 2 says that Free On net calling (to 2degrees mobiles) not available on $9 pack

@stinger As already stated no it does not include on-net included calling for the $9 Prepay carryover plan!

Can you share data with a $9 plan?

I currently have 2 kids on the $19 NZ Carryover pre-pay plan and both share the data (at no extra cost) on my $55/10GB monthly post-paid plan. I would like to drop them onto the $9 pre-pay plan and move myself to the $70/25GB monthly plan. For $5 less, we would get 25.5GB (vs12.5 current).

Anyone had much success at using the fritzbox to share the connection? It worked somewhat for me, but kept getting no internet message on other devices.
