I am sure I could find this out if I searched, but because it's Friday and.. cause... Do 2d do proper Static IP's on home connections or CG-NAT?

Broadband connections use a real IPv4 address, and a /56 IPv6 block. Static IP addresses are $10/month if not included as part of your plan (i.e. residential connections)

As an existing customer who is currently open plan its nice to see I can get Amazon Prime if I resign, but do I also get the $200 credit ?

Yeah I am coming off plan next month really looking for this info as well. I have seen others on geekzone offered this for re signing so I am hopeful but also aware that with a new freebie this may not be available any more.

Here is my Quic referral https://account.quic.nz/refer/39513 if you are keen to change ISP and to get free setup (save $29). I will get a $50 credit if you use this.  Thank you very much if you use my link but I'm sure there are quite a few others who could share the same on here, no hard feelings if you use a different link.

If I am not mistaken the news article said current 2D customers can call them up and get it for free too.

I confirm that this is true. (already did it before reading here)

I got it, but the way I picked it up Monday was the last day they would do it.

They asked me which publication it was in and then said as it was in the media they would honour it.

Going to the Stuff article now, it looks like the bit about asking for it when on contract has been removed.
