I logged into the company's account, just to find out the GST paid in mid-April is still not recorded and shows as overdue.

I think that's intentional, their archaic system is unable to cleanly redirect you to the proper URL

I could not login using the URLs in this thread.  From the login page URL, it took my details, but did not work.  But when I first went to http://www.ird.govt.nz and clicked on the login button from there, the very same login page did work.  It seems that they have completed their big upgrade, and maybe you need to collect some new cookies from the main page before the login page will work.

Unfortunately that won't work in this case. I'm unable to access MyIR at all, the connection is being completely ignored by IRD. Now to wait for Ricky or Nick to get back to me as to what's going on

Hi All,

 

The team have a looked into this. We gave our test bed a static IP in the same range and tested, we are able to replicate the behaviour in terms of hitting https://services.ird.govt.nz/ directly vs. going via https://www.ird.govt.nz/ and then click the myIR login button. We have tried other IP ranges and the same result, It would appear they are doing something funky on their end with how they manage requests to their site. We have also checked a bunch of IP Blacklists and there is no issue there.

 

RE: ASB - We are unable to replicate, I suspect this is a different issue and maybe it's being blocked by them. We have reached out to ASB directly to see if they are blocking a specific ip/range - when we have a response, I'll update. We haven't seen any other 'complaints' on access to ASB through Customer Care either.
