Oh yes and it has been connected 24/7.

Just got a Orcon Homehub last week ,  It's SW 4.3.52.6.300 

Are we talkking aboit the Siemans Gigaset SX763??




Yes it is.

Except mine still has the origional firmware in it.
I have just found out yesterday from Orcon that Mine hasnt been updating its firmware when an update was put out.
This they confirmed yesterday with testing and it will probably be replaced this week with a new one.

I've just moved from ihug UBS to Orcon UCLL using the homehub. My firmware is on 4.3.52.6.300. So far, the connection is rock solid at 12-18Mbps down and 1Mbps up. Better than my wholesale TNZ connection, which was lucky to get 11M out of the same router. Seems very stable to me, as I am used to daily PPPoA outages with ihug UBS. Nice to see the latency is a respectable (and consistent)  13ms to the BRAS, as I was getting around 90-3000ms previously.

Not much point commenting on the international b/w saga, as that seems to be covered in other threads. Needless to say, the last mile is all good & national connectivity is sweet as.

WiFi performance and compatibility has been a real headache though several clients like my Nokia E61 just don't seem to work, even after changing all of the manual options on both the homehub and phone. Has anyone else managed to get a Series 60 Nokia phone working with WPA-PSK to a Homehub?
