Sorry to hear you're leaving! I want to thank you for all your support you've done over the years. You've really set the bar high for anyone else who wants to fill your shoes. It's the little things - me complaining at 11pm when my internet drops due to network upgrades (while I was in the middle of a P2 incident at work) and not getting grumpy with me but instead telling me what happened or never showing frustration to a gamer who's ping went up by 2ms and instead going above and beyond to reduce it by 4ms instead.

2degrees are losing somebody quite important to their brand image I think but knowing you, you've already got your prodigy sorted. I wish you all the best with your new endeavors! And don't ever become a stranger.

Thanks Murfy! Look forward to a few ales at the next Geekzone event ;-)

Thanks for the support around here whilst wearing your 2Degrees hat, @NickMack. Very much appreciate that it was at all hours of the day or night, and on weekdays, weekends, public holidays, personal time off, the lot.

Cheers!

A real shame to hear that you're leaving 2D - they sure have some big shoes to fill.

On a personal level, thanks for all your help and contributions and knowledge sharing within the GZ community - you will definitely be missed.

All the best @NickMack!

Sad to hear, but all the best for the future. Your help and insight has been invaluable, especially in helping discover why my fibre wasn't doing IPv6 when I first got it. You were a credit to the 2Degrees team and whomever slots into that role has a lot to live up to. Salute.

I assume the role of communicating etc has gone! Did anyone here see anyone apart from Nickmac communicate here recently?

Just an update, Nick made it official yesterday and he's joined Voyager.

Just another reason to keep recommending Voyager as one of my top picks - I'll be curious to see if 2degrees stays up there, as I'd be lying if I said Nick's community involvement wasn't a key motivator.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

All the best NickMack. Liked how you gave background details when able to into things and would go the extra mile.  Big gain for Voyager.

What a great voyage this has been, I don't think there is a better place and role for everything Nick brings to the table than voyager.

I'm keen to see great things come out of this!
