You now have double nat and an inferior result why bother with the USG if you use that setup.

I would dump the voip from the isp, get an account with 2talk or hero, buy a separate ata such as the one below and just use the USG as the one and only router, you are now free to go with any isp and not worry about voice provided by them or not, just as most of us did with email 15 years ago.

Following up on this as I'm looking to upgrade my Orcon fibre to 1Gb, I presently have a couple of unifi APs and two managed unifi switches.

 

Was there ever a fix for this ?

 

Is the best case solution to forget about my VOIP number and buy the Edge router / USG / Dream Machine ??

I could not get a stable connection using the orcon router for voip. In the end as suggested by earlier comment went with Hero voip and protest my existing number
