Double check/replace all the ethernet cables too - sometimes if one pair breaks (e.g. due to fatigue from flexing or damage), it will run at 100Mb/s as that only requires two pairs, not four.

Speedtesting at over 100Mb/s so not an ethernet cable limiting to 100Mb/s

Upload speed tests can be unreliable. Assuming that's meant to be 1000/500, I'd say that's limited to about 100Mb/s too.

Not sure what happened to my reply, had to do a pic check now it's gone..

Talking to2d and went through the usual checks, found the the problem, it was due to my 'Sam Knows' box, took it out of circuit and speed went up, put it back and speed is still up, however I had done this during the day so will have to keep a watch and if it happens again then Sam Knows is heading for the rubbish bin :-)

-UPDATE -

Due to financial constraints and not really needing extra high speeds I have gone back to 100/10 plan.

I have also tossed the SamKnows White box as it was slowing my system on average by 15Mbps compared with a number of other speed check systems, with it out of the system I'm getting ----

Just to note, I've done extensive testing with the current Samknows boxes and get a consistent 932mbps through them (tested across multiple different connections). There's nothing intrinsically wrong with them but there's always the possibility yours got it's software in a twist.

Cheers - N
