Hey @c0ld

We own and manage our own network, so it's easy to get our own coverage maps. Not so easy overseas when we don't own them or guarantee which operator you'll connect to. I'll ask the team for you if they have any further info.

The issue is not coverage the question is does 2degrees provide 4G roaming in Australia on any network?

Thus is a simple yes or no and if yes the carrier/s name that 4G roaming will work on

Again feels like you missed the entire point of my reply. I'm not trying to draw out the point but when I feel like my words are being misconstrued (or the answer is purposely being avoided) it feels appropriate to point it out.

My feeling is either:

- 2degrees genuinely don't know in which countries their customers can 4G roam (unlike Spark & Vodafone who have it listed on their website)

or

- 2degrees do not want to state which countries they have agreements in place to allow 4G roaming (your prerogative)

To say customer don't need to know rather than one of the above doesn't sit right if I'm honest. Case in point - I'm visiting Oz next month and expect to be doing HD video calling back to NZ. As 3G often tops out around 1 - 2 Mbps on the upload I'll need to top up my Oz sim (which has 4G service) and get a data pack if I want to do it on the move (so when I'm not on hotel Wi-Fi) if 2degrees is 3G only. That's an example of just one country where I'm going in blind and will have to pay the $7 on day 1 to 2degrees just to possibly find out that there isn't 4G. And in this case at least I already have an Ozzie sim. If I'm heading to a new country where I don't have a foreign sim already I'm then going to (for best outcome anyway) have to investigate rates / best coverage for providers in that country in advance purely because 2degrees doesn't feel the need to tell us in advance if 4G roaming will be available.

That doesn't quite sound fair, right?

There's a genuine reason Spark and Vodafone have this information on their websites.
