Looks like they may have solved the PPPoE slowness on the UDM/Pro!

Unfortunately they pulled that release since there are a ton of bugs! I had to roll back.

yep but longer term that is good as they know the issue and have got a fix so it will make a firmware update at some point... some positivity from a complete mess.

Just saw you posted, will be interested to hear your feedback as I do need to replace my USG-3P and I do like the UDM Pro (as I'm fully invested in the UI universe with a large number of switches and access points)

Not going to provide much feedback as to if this PPPoE speed issue has been resolved as I connect via DHCP so dont have speed issues with full IPS/IDS enabled. UDM Pro is a nice device but flakey software but if you are willing and you know your way around then lots of possibilties.
I re-built my entire network with all Ubiquiti Unifi gear and for switches, AP's, camera's etc. no issues. Just lots of playing and tweaking with the UDM Pro.

I've tested the firmware with the supposed PPPoE fix and I can confirm it's fixed. I'm getting 900+Mbps down with no reduction when IDS (at max level) and DPI are turned on.

That is good to hear.  I've held off getting a UDM Pro for these reasons.  Just waiting on more info on the SE model to see if there is any benefit given I have a 24 port POE UI switch already and no way of passing anything more than 1gb across to my clients and no where near the need for >1gb internet currently.
