nztim: Good Luck @morganbrowne the UK is an amazing place

Except broadband is not real fibre over there, its VDSL falsely marketed as “Fibre”

It's mostly crap with a few good bits really.  My parents in a tiny village in Wales actually have proper fibre thanks to an EU project but we all know what happened with that..

Its the deceptive marketing of VDSL marketed "Fibre Broadband" which is (for the most part) Fibre to the cabinet and then VDSL for  last mile

I do understand some people have true Fibre to the Home but that is small patches of coverage few and far between

It's getting better. Community Fibre & Hyper Optic are slowly rolling out to London but its mostly private companies rolling it out. Some places have cable too.

Morgan - enjoy a double winter and getting dark at 3.30, I certainly did :P
