looks like one of the anycast DNS servers in WLG went into an odd state and was only serving up ~16% of requests, this node has been taken out of service to be sorted out. Full service should have been restored ~15:45. it should only have impacted you if you were in the lower North Island.



Thanks for following up pwner. Yep I'm lower North Island so that would explain it.

Thanks @pwner. In the tasman area here, on 2D Fibre with a static and were definitely affected yesterday.

sorry based on network distance you could have been served on the WLG node as well. So Lower NI plus upper SI could have been in the splash zone.
