dt: I can’t see how it’s 100% a problem on his end when he achieves better performance off network.

is it 100% same equipment as the off network tests?

As I said, if any of the networks were on CG-NAT then relaying will be used or there will be other problems hence why I said the problem is on his end even if it is being caused by the ISP.

Can you do a packet capture and check if traffic is being tagged as PCP5/high priority?
Anything around 2Mbps makes me wonder if it’s being pushed into the 2.5Mbps CIR queue on UFB.

Okay, I thought I'd report. It seems to fixed itself, without any changes on my end... ZeroTier direct connect is maxing out in both directions. I'm really scratching my head on this one, unless someone from 2degrees picked up on this and did something. In which case, thank you?

Much like some have alluded, the hardware at both sites are a limitation. Site to Site VPN with a USG and UDM isn't powerful enough  (both IPv6 and IPv4), though this wasn't my primary concern. I was just interested to see if it would make a difference, but in my case, it was worse. As said, I don't care about this as I only wanted to use an application to manage the VPN, as oppose to an appliance for now.

In the spirit of things, have a happy new year everyone. Thanks for the input and ideas, no matter how small they were.
