richms: Perhaps when orcon start to put gear in the cabinets to serve a majority of people it will matter that they are unbundling, but for now they are only getting customers who are trapped within the "10 megabit" range of the exchange, not those getting the nicer 20 meg speeds off a cabinet.

hmmm I'm on a cabinet and I certainly do not get 20Mbps heck i don't even get 15Mbps and i doubt I'll see any orcon equipment in the cabinet just down the road anytime soon or within the next 10yr's

Telecoms in this country is an embarrassment. Look at the current iphone debacle.

where as there are people up to about 3km from exchanges that are not lucky enough to be getting a cabinet installed so are stuck on 11-13 meg type speeds
