Brilliant, then we're probably on the right track. Our voicemail uses the message replace flag. It seems this means iPhones replace the message and leave it in the same place in the list it was before. It then progressively gies further and further to the top as missed call ones come in. And the top, of course, is the old messages.

Awesome!  NIce to hear you are onto it!  I''ve been embarrassed a few times now after calling the first name I saw on the list, to find out it was not them at all I missed a call from!  Thanks!

Excellent - I thought I was going mad. Sometimes I would have a new SBS Message but couldn't find it (3GS) and never got prompts for voicemail. I had 19 voicemail messages!

I can say that this is the only issue I've had with 2D. Love the cost control feature. And your ads.

Well, for the moment, actually deleting the SMSes instead of just acknowledging them will do the trick.
