Maybe I've misunderstood, but if you're a 2 degrees customer isn't data charged at the same rate irrespective of whether you're on the 2 degrees or Vodafone network. i.e. you're not roaming in the traditional sense of using an overseas carrier, it's just that 2 degrees has effectively subcontracted vodafone to provide its service in certain areas.

That is true of voice, SMS, MMS and casual data but with data packs there are 2 different data bundle options, one for in the 2deg zones which is far better bang for buck, one for use everywhere.

2degrees has two different data 'allowances' - national data which is valid when 'roaming' on VF, and broadband zone data (which is far cheaper for GBs of data) which is only valid when connected directly to the 2degrees network itself
