talisker: Maybe I've misunderstood, but if you're a 2 degrees customer isn't data charged at the same rate irrespective of whether you're on the 2 degrees or Vodafone network. i.e. you're not roaming in the traditional sense of using an overseas carrier, it's just that 2 degrees has effectively subcontracted vodafone to provide its service in certain areas.

2degrees has two different data 'allowances' - national data which is valid when 'roaming' on VF, and broadband zone data (which is far cheaper for GBs of data) which is only valid when connected directly to the 2degrees network itself
