I hope 2degrees crush Vodafone and Telecom. Best service and prices I've ever had with a mobile company. If they keep up their hard work it won't be long till its a reality. As far as profit goes think of Sony with the playstation 2 and 3 it wasn't for years before they turned a profit because of the high price of building and manufacturing the hardware. Two degrees is going through the similar thing while building their network.
I just hope that the current owners don't bail out and sell it to the likes of Telstra who would no doubt assimilate it into TelstraClear so it would go the same way as Saturn and the old Clear Communications after they took over them. Then we would have a triopoly with the rates jacked up to match Telecom and Vodafone..
