I'd be really interested in getting unlimited for $80.

Around Feb next year, getting some new kit to make it all happen.

I think if you are totally transparent on what is blocked or limited, such as having a page on the Flip site listing those sites that are limited, or at least a search page that Flip users can check what is blocked, then you will find people would be more accepting to it.

What about Usenet?

As long as Steam is not limited, then I'm fine with it.

Yes that's the plan. The idea is to design it so we don't get a truck load of leeches.

Usenet I'd have to look into further, the site would run at full speed but it's likely if large file transfers were occurring then those would be limited.

Currently stuck in a contract with Telecom but watching Flip quite closely.

Two options that would appeal to me:

On the standard pack of $50, I would happily pay up to $60 for a 100GB pack that would last for 12 months (we use roughly 30GB per month at the moment) so $35 would be awesome!

Re the unlimited idea if that is $80 total then yes very interested in that also... Im guessing that is the case because $80 on top of the $50 wouldn't be very competitive at all...

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

We are increasing two of our data packs on Monday;

20GB for $15 becomes 25GB for $15

40GB for $25 becomes 45GB for $25

So if you use around 30GB a month you'd be looking at $64.95 per month.

Of course 25GB of that is a data pack which doesnt expire. i.e. if you have a light month it rolls over.

We dont have any plans for a 100GB anymore, the no cap data pack will cover this for around $35.

If I sign up to Flip now, will my package be updated with the new bundles as of Monday?

Also, will there be any shaping or limiting applied to any sites with the standard data packs at some point, or is that only for the unlimited pack?

No it won't sorry.

Two options:

1. Sign up now and don't purchase the data pack yet. Won't make any difference as by the time you're connected everything will be updated.

2. Sign up Monday afternoon (or when I post to confirm all is live).

No limits on the standard data packs planned at all. Only makes sense for us to apply rules on the no data cap pack.
