I seriously need to sell my house and move somewhere where they have proper internet. The UFB zone literally goes right around my street on all sides :/

Hi classiczone

Yep we've seen the order in the system just now. We'll get onto this as quick as we can but as you can imagine we're a bit swamped with new orders just at the moment ;)

Cheers
Ralph

Give them a call. Based on Snap's generally awesome customer service it's likely they will work something out for you.

If you sign up on a plan and select, say, 500GB extra data and then decide it's too much or too little are there any penalties in changing to a smaller/bigger data block?

I chose my house based on broadband connectivity.

It was difficult though because back in the day telecom would not give solid guarantees.

I've never had any penalties - it's just a case of logging in on their website and clicking a button to change data addons. Very convenient :)

This is 100%. Your contract term is for the base plan not for the data upgrades.

just gave Snap a call seeing if I could transfer from my 12 month ADSL contract (8 months to go on it) to this VDSL deal. they said sure thing and signed me up.

I could get used to this type of customer service

Anyone know if SNAP have any intention of enabling "global mode" like Slingshot? Have gotten pretty attached to Netflix rather quickly.

Use this....

https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/

$3.33 USD / month.

Not so elegant but does the trick.
