As soon as they offer it, we're in! We actually discussed this with them today and will be looking to arrange a test circuit into Snap HQ next week, so all going well we might be able to offer some Extreme goodness early(ish) in the New Year.

Please let us know as soon as it is available in Christchurch as I'm definitely in.

Interestingly, at the moment my speedtest.net tests are showing 102 down and 53 up. I didn't think that was possible with the existing Layer 3 service as the IP protocol overhead required to do this generally consumes about 5-10% of the available bandwidth - have you changed something?

Chorus announced changes to this as part of their "Right Performing" plan which also includes introducing contention into the GPON network which is required for plans faster than 100Mbps.

those prices are really really good IMO. Only wish I could get UFB.... god only knows when Ill get it at my house.

50 Mbps upload == :) compared to 1.3Mbps upload now == :(

I called Snap like 2 days ago, I was told that 200mb plan it isn't available on enable yet, only on Chorus UFB.

I think you guys might have mistaken what Ralph said as a public trial. Read back and he says they are trying to get a trial connection into snap HQ, not a trial for the public / select few.

Thanks Snap!

I ordered this straight away, had a few issues though, couldn't get speed over 100 to start with, after logging a fault with Snap and much back and forth it turns out it was me being an idiot. I was testing the speed with a Macbook Air ethernet to USB adapter which is 100mbps max. As soon as I tested on a Macbook pro straight ethernet..........BOOM!

updated to 200Mbps but the connection is unstable if download speed exceeds 1.5m/s here
it keeps getting disconnected and then re-connect

This is a known issue. I also have this issue. Strangely it's only on the 200 / 50

You can surf the web all day long with no issues but as soon as you start a download the connection drops. When we tested my connection dropped 3 times in a 1 GB download.

As I say Snap are aware. I'll post back here if / when it's resolved.

Which model of Fritz!Box are you using PoHq? Maslink/SamF, are you seeing this problem?
