I wish they would act on FibreX, as most (non-GZ) average consumers would assume from the name and the marketing that they were getting fibre. Whatever convoluted sophistry VF uses to justify the "X", this will be lost on typical consumers, and the reality is that whole branding seems deliberately intended to deceive consumers.
Maybe I should start marketing "VeganX tasty veggie sausage rolls", without disclosing that the X means that they also contain angus beef? It would pretty much be the same thing.
Back on thread topic, I think I have lost what little vestigial trust in Stuff that I may have had. In the last few weeks they have been publicly spanked by the Commerce Commission over making false claims about their products, publicly spanked by the Press Council for fake headlines and stories that directed people to bitcoin adverts, and have has a series of howling errors and mistakes in their reporting. They are more like the National Enquirer than a serious and trustworthy news outlet now. Some of their recent behaviour is starting to look seriously sleazy.
