Hmm, I may have spoken too soon.
I'm having issues getting to asb.co.nz, but changing DNS servers doesn't help and there's no Akamai addresses showing up in the connections list.
I can connect fine via Skinny mobile data.

I seemed to have bypass the issue for now using Google DNS servers AND flushing the local DNS cache (cmd.exe -> ipconfig /flushdns).

I've changed the DNS to Google's public ones and flushed it.
Steam is loading now but Microsoft only loads partially and Humble Bundle is not loading either...
Humble bundle was broken for me yesterday but fixed itself this morning before I did anything. However, other sites broke today instead. Seems like different sites are broken as time goes on.
Yes, restarted Modem/Router, PC, Browsers multiple times... ASB is loading without any issue for me.

We have made to call to make the problematic caches inaccessible (filtered them out) while we continue to work with Akamai on this (removing the impact on our customers). We have plenty of capacity elsewhere on the network to cover the load. Traffic to these nodes has significantly dropped since the change at 1pm, and is continuing to reduce. If you are still experiencing issues, please restart you PC/any active sessions to ensure you are now using our other caches.

+1 Vote for cloning Nick and pimping to other providers for fast resolution while not being read from a script book (nor get lost when going off script)
tardtasticx: Would this also affect things like ThreeNow and TVNZ streaming? All devices at home can’t plant content in their apps unless we connect to a non 2d network (in our case we tested Vodafone 4G). We’re on 2degrees fibre in Auckland.
They do indeed use Akamai too.
