Yep, good to know Chorus are on top of the situa.... oh

https://www.chorus.co.nz/outages

Chorus outage map is for Chorus network outages, rather than individual ISPs, and this is a Vocus issue

Why does the Orcon Fibre status page give me a link to the Chorus website?

Their "Click here for the rest of New Zealand" link (I'm in Auckland) goes to https://www.chorus.co.nz/outages.

This is very unusual.
I've been on orcon for around 10 years and the interruptions in that time could be counted on one hand.

Course, I'm not always sitting at home on a weekday trying to do something online so way to go with the timing. 😵

I would not want to be @Sounddude right now

Offline in Albany, Auckland as well :-(

Been so long since I’ve experienced an internet outage, feels just as bad as losing power 😁

Ah just spent the best part of 15mins trying to fix my router.

Tried to access www.slingshot.co.nz on my 2degrees mobile and when it didn't work (while other sites were fine over 2degrees) finally dawned on me that it was probably a Vocus issue and came here to check and sure enough... :)

Feel sorry for the poor engineers who have to fix this during lockdown!
