Ok so it is a bit later but I just got 4900K from LA and 600K upload. I have a feeling you have major ADSL contention in your area.

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

Its been like this for me on and off over the past 3 months, well for the past 2 months its been this bad..before that it was ok at certain times.

I get similar speeds to Silverwolf and I'm on Orcon+ (unbundled).

I think Orcon has major ADSL contention at certain times!

Anyway, this has been going on for months now as evidenced by many, many posts on this issue. Orcon are obviously not going to fix it, so the choice for their subscribers is very simple.

I was a geek before the word was invented!
