Is there any particular reason why in the month of April there has been a total of 7 outages(and/or maintenance) with Orcon? This is unlike any other ISP I've been with.

Are you going by whats on the network status site or by your own personal outage experiences ?

Ive had one minor outage but suspect it was an exchange fault as Orcon couldnt find any fault and after a few hours it came right anyway and been flawless since.

Well in the period from 5 pm Sunday to 8 am today I've been down now personally for over 25 hours in total (2 separate downtime periods). So that's 25 hours down out of 39 hours over that time period.

I see that Orcon's network status messages are often changed after the fact to reflect their efforts at fixing their issues... I presume to spin that the outages only affected a "few" and only for "short" time periods.

I'm sure this is also done at other ISP's as well... so I'm certainly not singling out just Orcon in trying to spin their outages as positively as they can.

All I can say is I hope these long downtime periods are actually now resolved and we can get back to the generally good uptime periods that Orcon has been giving me for the last 2 years+.

Going by my own experience and by the status page, I've been effected by every single outage put up on there this month...
