dannywii: 220min for $39 = 17c per min compare to 22c per min on prepay hmm...not much difference and don't know if they round calls to min or sec

but for that price I'd stay on prepay coz I also get 22c to international calls plus if i don't use up all my credit they r valid for whole year on prepay, it's only 2 months for pay monthly

i dont txt anymore no more than 10 txt for me every month so that 600 txt has no value to me :(

srsly 2degree plz don't follow vodafone's steps, nobody use that many txt these days

i was hoping for something that can be customized, so we can choose the included call min, txt, and broadband usage

It is customisable... Kinda
$39 for plan and $x for data.

I thought it was 12 months the minutes were valid for.

Why speculate as to what plans they would bring out? I will just wait till tomorrow and see what they have to offer.

It would be silly of them not to take the advantage of smartphone users market, especially after reading an article (can't find the link) from NZ Herald where they specifically mentioned a data plan being released soon to compete with iPhone plans VF has.

Just chill people and go to sleep. :>

Did they indicate that there would be a suite of different plans with alternatives to this one?

Or is it a 'one size fits all' base plan, where you just add whatever data plan suits? I would have preferred to trade a few of those minutes and texts for some data, but on the whole it's still looking better than the Vodafone alternative.

lets ignore the free 100minutes....

on account

$39 120minutes 600 texts

prepay

$30 100minutes + $10 1000 text pack (i understand its a promo)  + 300 text from topping up $30

There isn't a reason to sign up to that plan unless you look at the 100 free minutes promo....
