I'm not actually surprised in the slightest. I had a real fight with them a while back. It's a pity they've come to this, I remember years ago they were great. Now their CSRs are, for the most part, rude, arrogant and (from what I can suspect) straight out of high school. Reading your initial post was actually quite familiarizing to me in regards to my experiences with them. I do hand it to a few people there who are friendly, constructive and helpful- unfortunately there either isn't very many of them left or they're constantly swamped with other people's problems.

To put it quite bluntly, given a choice of using their service again or paying an extra $50 a month for a similar cap without the crap, I'd pay the extra $50 to someone else.

Hi there,
An update for you all as promised.
We had an isolated issue with the system that records data use. For a small number of our customers, it was recording data that wasn?t used.
We have deleted all incorrect data use during that period from the bills of those affected.
The online usage meter will still show incorrectly for those affected, but rest assured, no one will be incorrectly billed for data.
We are fastidious when it comes to billing for data and will always ensure no one is charged for data they didn?t use.
Thanks, Quentin

Lock the thread.  Everyone's been trying to help the fella out but he acts like a brat.

Some people have helped but some have merely assumed and created further frustration.  As for you, you've just added 0 value by fuelling frustration.  Well done.

Well said, was going to reply, however could not be bothered.

If you cannot read then its your own fault here.

My cap still has not be reduced and I have not been given a email for the "mistake" of extra data added, as quoted by the CSR.

Grand customer service.

OMG emp just quit already, you constantly come on here and complain about your poor service which most of the time ends up being your fault. Go to another isp if your this upset.

You have become a joke with several isp's noc staff, they read your messages and laugh. some of them even have your account bookmarked for frequent viewing

I think it's time to lock the thread, seeing Quentin gave us an update with good information.

Thanks Quentin.
