I was trying to see if I can be super cheap, and just have my base plan with 25GB of data + phone insurance for $77.20 a month and use the unlimited for all my downloading.

The website wording seems to indicate this is possible.

What website wording? The press release indicates otherwise.

Better yet, if you purchase an additional data pack then data usage nights between 1am and 7am is unmetered, and doesn’t count towards the monthly allowance.

It would be ludicrously good value if it's otherwise ;-) Actually it's already ludicrously good value, but that would take it right into Plaid value.

All our data packs come bundled with All You Can Eat Nights!
That means any data you use between 1am and 7am is unmetered and won't contribute to your data cap!

0 should be considered as "No, I do not want a data pack".

You'll see on the right hand side when you've added a data pack, it will show that you've ordered a data pack. Setting it to 0 shows no data pack at all.

My street had UFB cables laid last week. Our cabinet has not been installed (I don't even know where it is) and Snap sent a flyer in the mail saying:

"Congratulations! You're one of the first areas in New Zealand to get Ultra-Fast Broadband, delivered over a brand new fibre network. With lightening fast speeds and bucketloads of data, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it."

They are offering the new plans. Snap's website is correct saying that UFB is not available at my place.

Could a snap employee make sure this doesn't happpen!!! Some people might be annoyed when Snap can't offer them UFB.

I'm on the grandfathered $60 naked plan with 10Gb. Although 50Gb for $70 seems like much better value I would never come close to even using half that amount of data.

It would have been nice to still have a naked plan in the $50 - $60 price bracket, but it sounds like it's not likely to happen.

Man I am loving the new unlimited nights.
I have 125GB for monthly usage, with my month starting on the 6th.

Have used 20GB of my regular cap, and 297GB of unlimited nights.

Yep being able to seed initial online backups in the 1-7am window was on of the reasons I decided to go with Snap for VDSL. I haven't started yet but with 10Mbps upload I reckon I can get 21GB uploaded per night without impacting my cap :)
