I'm surprised you're still without service when the fix is so simple - simply move back to copper and get a port back.

If you want some help coming back to spark feel free to email me "pl at spark.co.nz" and I can help. But I think if you ring up 0800225598 they should be able to reverse the disconnection.

That's what I ended up doing when MR couldn't offer a solution. I signed up with Orcon.

I did ask someone on the Spark connections team about this and was told it'd take 10 days so I ended up going with Orcon (which hasn't been the smoothest transition either)

I really wish I'd just stayed where I was.
