im with you on this , i dont call Australia or national calls so basically it's a $15 price increase. disappointed.

Agree with this - I have a fixed line but do not make many calls. Should not be forced into an all you can eat if you do not use it much.

I want to keep the line for house alarm and we get many calls from family on it.

Ok it started working. Now the site's working I've discovered it's $69 for naked broadband instead of my current $79, but it goes up to $84 with a phone line - I don't want unlimited calling, I want a basic line and to pay for my rare calls. I like the $10 upgrade to faster broadband.

Maybe I ditch the home phone line and pay the same for faster internet. I rarely use the home phone, it was just disaster proofing.

All in all I think this has been managed badly and Snap is pissing off loyal customers who've previously been customer evangelists. Now it'll be "yeah Snap's ok, but they're 2 degrees now, they got more expensive, and they're less flexible".

Glad someone picked up that its $15 for a phone line, so my older Gigatown plan at $99 that includes a phone is cheaper by $5

Won't be switching away from my old plan now; as long as things stay the same then I am happy

Nothing for me with unlimited ADSL2 and phone. In fact If I switched I would be paying more with 2D.

So we can't change to the $89 plan without either signing up for another 12 months or buying a modem?

Why? I already have a modem so don't want another one..

Indeed they are AVM devices. Our volumes have increased exponentially (we hope!!) so we've been able to get much improved pricing, which we are passing on.

BYOD is not available for launch, although we will review this again in a few months.

We think the plans stack up pretty well on their own - but become incredibly compelling if you bundle a Pay Monthly mobile with them as well.

Why? I already have a modem so don't want another one..

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be forced into buying another modem. It's $149 extra for the modem if you don't sign up for 12 months.

Hi, this isn't quite possible yet. Longer term thats the goal but its a big job integrating 2 entirely different OSS/BSS platforms together, so will take some time. We re linking accounts though, so if you have a 2degrees Pay Monthly service then you'll get a $10/m discount off your 2degrees broadband plan.

Sorry but no you can't get this - but we do like the way you think!! Only one mobile account per broadband service is possible.

You're welcome to stay on your current "Snap" plan as long as you want - there's no intention to force customers to migrate.

There's no intention to force customers to migrate to the new plans - the choice is yours!

Hopefully users see value & choice in the new services, Pay Monthly bundle discount, and launch Neon offer. But if you those offers don't smoke your tyres then thats OK as well!!
