ahmad: It is $19 per month! They are already charging $10 for 100Mb, and that's not to say that is cheap, but that's what they have been and still charge!

It's going for the low end of the market, and they don't use data.

All data plans can be added to the EASY plans

Data is not a add on like TXT2000 bestmates

That wasn't what I was saying but as Mauricio says this is (somewhat) off topic as we are interested in 2 Degrees plans here. Of course before they release them we can only speculate and analyse competing products :)

Well if this is Vodafone's way of compating 2Degrees's plans, then I highly doubt that 2Degrees will be far off this. If they go to low they loose money, and if they go to high they loose customers and in turn loose money too. And ofcourse if they leave them the same as vodafone and telecom, they wont gain many customers either and loose money once again. But us out of our missery 2Degrees! (I think I'm making it go back towards the topic, wanting info pre-launch?)

We have been treated for exciting mobile network and handset launches in the last few months.

I'm hoping 2 degree's plans blow everything else out of the water...

Tyler - Parnell Geek - iPhone 3G - Lenovo X301 - Kaseya - Great Western Steak House, these are some of my favourite things.

I am confident that the handsets will NOT amaze.

Someone who got a preview described the lineup as "interesting".

Anyhow, since when did we care about what handsets a provider was offering in today's world of parallel importing, switching networks, and iPhones?

I'm guessing "interesting" means "cheap". I mean, you can't sell a $1099 phone at a supermarket, can you?

Its not like they are they are launching with a network aimed at business users if the were it would be more mature on its website

Mauricio will there be any live blogging of this launch event? Cheers.

And I thought of another question - will 2 Degrees support free mobile twitter updates?

Worse still, imagine taking your handset to New World for repair
