Well it would appear that the WxC router is of no use at all, even if I could configure the VLan on the Wan port. The ports only support up to 100Mbits.

So is the general opinion that the Fritz is the barrier between the end user and a 200/50 connection? Are there any on the trial not using Fritz that could share their experience and hardware choices?

I just gave up and swapped back to 100/50.

Paying extra to go from 100mbs to 5mbs >.>

I'll be doing the same probably, but I'll give it a bit longer. Snap are on the case.

How are sites working for you? It takes me about 3mins~ to refresh geekzone, I can't load any international site though, they all time out.

Whats even worse is snap tried charging me $50 to swap back to my original plan... not impressed.

What international sites are you trying? I'll try them here.

Geekzone and all other browsing is lightning quick right now.

Has your drop down to 100/50 gone through? Or is it pending?

Well everything is great here, international browsing is very quick, Netflix currently streaming super HD, no issues aside from the dropouts when downloading.

I'll drop back to 100/50 if they can't resolve but I think they will get to the bottom of it.

As far as I know the dropouts are when downloads are running ONLY. Everything else is good. My own logs show 24hrs plus with no dropouts as I haven't been downloading at that time.

As soon as a download starts the dropouts start with it.
