Hi TheHoss,

Yes that information is not correct, and our Support desk should have referred you to logging a ticket, as at present IPv6 support is not offered over our support desk

Can you send an email to support@snap.net.nz with IPv6 in the title with a brief explanation of the issue and we will investigate.

Thanks,
TheRalph

Thanks Ralph. Happy to lodge a support ticket. Will get onto this when I can. Thanks for your awesome hands-on attitude in these forums - it's always appreciated.

I've turned IPv6 back on, but there seems to be problems with the PMTUD (https sites not working, mostly). I've set TCP MSS at my router to 1420 and it seems ok.

I've had IPv6 at Internode, and never had this problem before..

RalphFromSnap: Hi All,

We have pushed out some updates to IPv6 on Fritz's, can you check again now and see if you are still having issues? - we managed to replicate and resolve the problem in our Lab so hopefully its all good now!

Thanks,
TheRalph

I'm a bit late to this thread but I'm having the same issue (facebook not updating on Snap wifi).

Can you please tell me how we can tell if we have received the update or not? My snap connection went live late last month so just wondering if my issue is something else.

From other forums, it seems the problem is often the MTU, I've noticed on the Fritz the default is 1280, which seems to be quite low.

From anyone with Snap/Fritz that have ipv6 enabled and their facebook app work, what MTU do you have?

Thanks

Yes that's what I meant, thanks for sharing.

Then it's something else because it doesn't work for me.

I've followed the advice on this thread and disasbled ipv6, so it's working now.
