Hey guys,

Anyone had issues topping up via the txt method? I bought a recharge card, topped up via txt then did the buy 512mb to 233. I've tried this several times in the last few hours. Really need data as i'm on call this week.

I dont have access to a phone with a microsim so I dont know my 2degrees password.

Toys:  iphone 4s; PS3 good times.  13inch macbook pro.   ipad 3. Ã¯Â£Â¿ 27inch imac.   airport express & time machine. raspberry-pi running xbmc and a gopro try hard.

Pro Tip: as soon as the iPad can connect to the internet, it will. So, if you topup $20, the iPad will connect to the internet and reserve some credit (50c). Thus, you don't have $20 available to buy the data pack, you have $19.50. Either topup more than $20, or make sure you have a little bit of credit left (not $0.00) when you try to buy a value pack.

Cheers
S

*Edit: just to be clear, the 50c is immediately reserved, not actually charged: if you turn off cellular data at that point and check your balance via SCP you won't have $19.50 available, you'll have (say) $19.99 -- $20 less whatever data it used immediately after you topped up.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!
