Why? What difference does it make to you?

Hey 2degrees,

thanks heaps for showing me my usage - It's a real help in managing my costs.

I'd really like to be able analyse my calls in different ways.

Most called number
Number where I've spent the most money.
Who have I called with my 22c magic.
Who did I txt with my free SMS magic.

Also a really great one - I want to be able to load names against the numbers I call so I can analyse by real people rather than numbers.

1) free, lets say 20 a day web to mobile sms from 2degree's online account (as it is done at Vodafone)

2) optional voicemail and sms mail either into 2degree's mailbox ( with pop3/imap access and forwarding)  or it can be just redirected to external mailbox (as it is done at Voxalot - free Australian voip service)

2) free sms alerts from google calendar (as it is done with Vodafone and Telecom) or own 2degree's calendar with ICS access

What about extending the Magic time for larger topups. At the moment if you buy 5 consecutive $20 top ups, you get 500 texts, and 22c calls for up to 150 days. But if you buy 1 $100 topup you get the same number of texts, only 30 days to use them and only 30 days of calls at the cheaper rate. How about extending the magic time for 15 days for every $10 topped up over $20. That way there would be no "penalty" for the larger topups.

Can you talk to asb about doing topups on atm's? This whole going to a dairy to get a code to type into the phone feels so primitive.

An easier way to check your balance??

On my phone, calling *100# works perfectly, but on the other phones, it doesn't work correctly.

A simple TEXT option or at least a calling option would be great.... unless i'm missing something here?

*100#1# has worked on every pohne I have tried. What phone do you have that it doesnt work on? Its a hell of a lot easier then messing around typing a text and then waiting for the reply which you then have to delete.

I know of a few that have caused some issues with USSD menu browsing. A couple of Samsungs and a handful of old SonyEricssons. The Samsungs worked OK with the whole string (*100#1#) but the SEs didn't like it at all.

Newer SIMs worked in the SEs though.

Yes. but that way you have to pay data charges.

It doesn't work on my g/f's Motorola V3. It brings you to the options page to select 1 for balance or 2 for Topups, but when you press 1 or 2, it then doesn't let you press OK.....

It also doesn't work on my mums Nokia.... not sure what model Nokia it is but it's one of the simple ones.

Good idea, that'll fix the issue on the V3 at least...

EDIT: Well, it won't fix the issue but it's a nice get around solution anyways.

I just created a contact called "balance" and used the short code. Even my parents found that easy.
