GEOMAX:

the android application is working again. I noticed it at 6 00am and have tried it several times since. Well done.

I may have jumped the gun .the service status shows this as still unavailable.

I think we should treat it as work in progress.

Is the My 2degrees thing still broken? I can't sign into my new account. Even with a password reset it refuses to let me in with the new password and directs me to call the 0800. On hold now, should be interesting to see how long it takes... Very disappointed with their obvious lack of planning and testing.

It's working on browser page, just tested now. iOS application goes through to web page.
Can get all data remaining, expires dates etc. From other posts sounds like Android application is back working.

Better when can do with application as when click on something get instant info, web page can take a couple seconds to load, but at least all info there.

I have found that my wifes account (which was sharing data with my account - ie shared from mine to hers), was not sharing data any more. She credited some cash, then wondered why a week or so later it was all gone...did it again (to get the phone usable - ie for calls/txt/etx), logged an email with 2D help, and credited some more in the meantime...but have now burned through it again...called last night - waited and then gave up....sent message via FB, but still radio silence....not impressed tbh....but first bad experience with 2D, so still hoping that they can make it right

On Wednesday I got into the android mobile app but had to set it up with an email address to log in.
On Thursday I could not log in via the app or the website so tried to reset my password, it wouldn't accept my email and password so directed me to enter my mobile number which was authenticated via text. I was then advised that I had already set up an email address for the account but when I tried to reset the password with the email address I was told they didn't recognise my address!
On Friday I received my mobile account via email (for the first time) sent to the address I had registered but 2degrees wouldn't recognise

I've (including WAF) been with 2D for a long time and been pretty happy with them, but man, today I went into Voda and started the switch over. This has gone on too long for me and I cant really see an end in sight. I know they have a lot of issues at the moment (that they have themsevles to blame for) but I've found it impossible to get through to them on the phone, they dont respond to tickets and stuff is broken all over the show - ive got better things to do than spend my time helping them troubleshoot stuff I pay them to provide and that they broke.

I know there is some sympathy around the place for the problems they are having (probably more so here because there are a lot of techos that know how difficult and complex things can be behind the scenes) but in my opinion they dont deserve it - they are a large commercial operator who should know better.

Just my 2c :)

Unless you're bailing as a short term solution, bailing out permanently doesn't make any sense. You were obviously with them for a reason pre-upgrade, so it stands to reason once they get on top of everything and it's all sorted - those reasons that made them better than Spark and Vodafone in your eyes will all be back. All these issues are very much a temporary thing

Besides, it doesn't make sense that they would do such a massive (and long) upgrade without it allowing them to do better things for customers - they've been talking about it "making 2degrees even better". And given that 2degrees has done some impressive stuff to shake up the market since they launched, it stands to reason that they have some things planned that they maybe couldn't do previously. I guess we will have to wait and see.

These are my reasons for sticking with them anyway.

A new iOS app has been pushed out this afternoon and appears to be working. Looks like its getting back on track

When is the shared data stuff supposed to come back? this is one of the two main reasons ive kept my service with 2D... if it goes, no major reason for me to stay

Auto top up hasn't worked for me. Was supposed to occur on 1st of the month with pack renewal on 2nd. I didn't realise I hadn't received the usual monthly text and ran out of credit today, as my pack obviously hasn't auto renewed. Tried calling them and wait times are crazy. Going to be a real pain getting this sorted...not happy.

Yes, just tried to setup a new auto topup after my last one didn't go through and I get:

"Sorry something is not working as it should. Please try again in a few minutes or call us on 0800 022 022."

Aside from the topup issue I mentioned earlier, and the fact that you had to be checking the website to know of the planned upgrade (when a text message from 2D would have been very beneficial), I thankfully haven't had any issues that affected the ability to use the service.

I am slightly annoyed that I now have to use an email address to logon, when I had a perfectly good mobile phone number that had worked well for years.

However nothing has made me feel the need to move to another provider, however 2D are no longer the upstart telco they used to be
